Dog - Kaylie

Image
Hi guys! Sorry we haven't been around for a while, but today we have a very special dog we are talking about. Kaylie is a 6-year-old spayed pit bull terrier who came into Los Angeles County - Carson/Gardena Shelter on April 6, 2021. She was found with a microchip, but so far her family has not come to claim her. If her family doesn’t come for her, then she will have to stay at the shelter, and sadly her euthanasia date is Jul 26, 2021, which is in 9 days. If you are interested in helping Kaylie or know someone who might, please share and click on the link below to visit her page on the DogsInDanger website or call the shelter's phone number: 310-523-9566. Thanks!  KAYLIE - DogsInDanger

Navigating Petfinder AKA How to look for your own pet!!

Hi again everyone! This post will be about how to find your own pet. If you are interested in a dog or cat or any kind of animal, we recommend you look on Petfinder. Here's what you would do. Open a new tab and type in"petfinder", and then hit enter. Click on the first link, but avoid anything that has the word "ad" next to it. You should arrive at the home screen of Petfinder. It has a lot of purple. Let's say you live in California, and want to find a dog there. There should be a box on your screen where it says "enter city, state, or zip". Click on that, and then type in your town, city, state, or zip code. For example, I would type in "California", and then hit enter. Now, a drop-down box might appear with cities and towns in California, but I'm just going to ignore it and hit enter. Your screen will not change. Next to where you entered California will be other boxes with "find a dog", "find a cat", and "...

Cat - Blizzard

Hi everyone, We haven't posted in a while, but here we have an adorable tuxedo cat name Blizzard. He's a 5-month-old male, who's very comfortable with other cats and children. We don't know how he feels about dogs, but he's playful and friendly, and cuddly. He has a brother named Sundae, and they both have a birth defect called pectus excavatum. They only have mild cases that do not warrant any medical intervention. If you're looking for a pair of cats to keep you company, Blizzard and Sundae would love to be welcomed into your home. To see more information, copy the links below and paste them into your search box. Thanks!
